WATCH LIVE: NYPD and FDNY commissioners, agency heads to answer questions about NYC security

NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell and Fire Commissioner Laura Kavanagh will provide an update on the city’s public safety initiatives Friday during a virtual community question and answer hosted by the city’s deputy mayor for public safety, Philip Banks.

The frank discussion will take place at 12:00 pm and can be viewed on this web page and also in New York. gov and city social networks.

Residents were encouraged to direct questions about public safety to City Hall, which would be answered by Sewell, Kavanagh and other agency heads.

This virtual briefing will be the first in a series of updates on current NYPD and FDNY public safety initiatives and strategies.
