The Mitzvah Tank was vandalized in the second such attack in New York in recent months.

A Jewish education and outreach center on wheels has been vandalized, the second such attack in recent months, police said on Monday.

The Tank Mitzvah, parked on Broadway near Prince Street in Soho, was attacked around 4:15 pm on February 2, police said.

The vandal scrawled the word “Palestine” on the side of the truck, an attack identical to last year’s.

On October 28, police received a report that someone had written the same graffiti word on another Mitzvah Tank vehicle, which offers mobile classes, holiday activities and prayers, among other things.

The NYPD Hate Crime Task Force is investigating both incidents.

Last year, 261 cases of anti-Semitic hate crimes were reported in five districts. According to the NYPD, 69 people were arrested based on complaints.

Police have released photographs of the suspect and are asking the public for help identifying him.
