The driver was detained in a fatal crash on FDR Drive in Manhattan.

Police have arrested a driver who hit a homeless man walking down a Manhattan highway last year, police said Monday.

Mohammed Pasha, 64, did not stop after he crashed into a man who was walking down South Roosevelt Roosevelt lanes when he was hit near 14th Street around 7:45 p.m. Sept. 25, police said.

The victim, whose identity the police have not yet been able to establish, died at the scene.

Pasha was arrested on Monday and charged with leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in death.

His indictment in Manhattan Criminal Court was expected Monday evening.
