Man found dead in West Village subway station; autopsy to determine if he was murdered
A man in his 30s was found dead early Thursday in a Manhattan subway station with cuts to his upper body, police said.
A transit worker made the discovery at about 12:10 a.m. inside the W. 4th St. station in Greenwich Village, police said.
The victim was near the stairwell ramp area leading to the tracks.
An autopsy will be performed to determine if he was murdered.
