An armed robber climbed through the second floor window of an FDNY firehouse in Manhattan and fought Brave.

As the Daily News learned, an armed robber climbed through the window of the second floor of the FDNY fire station in Midtown Manhattan and got into a fight with two of the city’s most courageous residents.

Police were called to Engine Company 26 on West 37th Street near Seventh Avenue around 9:40 p.m. Tuesday after Michael Nahaczewski was seen climbing a firehouse wall and entering a second-story window, police said.

He was taking out personal items from firefighters’ bedrooms when the smoke-eaters returned from a call and spotted Nakhachevsky rummaging through their belongings, police said.

“(Nakhachevsky) was on the second floor of the fire station and owned the personal property of the firefighters on duty,” an FDNY spokesman said.

Engine 26 firefighters, nicknamed “The Batcave” because of the iconic bat symbol painted on the sidewalk outside the station, immediately called the police and grabbed Nakhachevsky, sparking a brief brawl.

During the collision, two firefighters were slightly injured, but they managed to neutralize Nakhachevsky before the police arrived, police and FDNY representatives said.

Police detained a suspect Tuesday near Engine 26 on W. 37th St. in Manhattan.

Police seized a gun from the suspect.

Nakhachevsky, who police say lives in the West Village, was charged with attempted assault, petty theft, possession of a firearm, disorderly conduct, criminal possession of stolen property, and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

His indictment in Manhattan criminal court was expected on Wednesday.
