Accused in the murder of Microsoft CEO Jared Bridegan was hired by the new husband of the former

The man accused of killing Microsoft CEO Jared Bridegan in front of his 2-year-old daughter was a regular contractor for his ex-wife’s new hubby, according to the defendant’s roommate.

Henry Tenon, who is accused by police of shooting the 33-year-old father of four, regularly did work at several rented properties owned by Mario Fernandez, a former roommate told The Post.

Fernandez is now married to Shanna Gardner-Fernandez, who has been involved in a bitter divorce and custody dispute with Bridegan since 2016.

Tenon’s former roommate also described Tenon, 61 – a convicted felon – as a quiet and hard-working man who often helped his ailing father, who lived next door before he recently passed away.

“Henry seemed like a quiet guy who got up early every morning for work, just doing his own thing,” the roommate said.

“I know he did a little side work for Mario here and there when he asked him to.”

He recalled four separate police visits to their Jacksonville home after Tenon was arrested on unrelated charges last August.

“They kicked the door in once,” he said. “They turned the whole place upside down. They were looking for a gun, his truck, they took all his clothes.”

A roommate said he was taken in for questioning and interrogated for four hours about any information he had about Tenon’s role in Bridegan’s death.

“I just sat there and told them I didn’t know anything about it,” he said. “Henry just collapsed on the couch when he needed somewhere to stay. That’s all I knew. It was all just crazy.”

A roommate said that Tenon was unusually strong for his age and had a local girlfriend whom he dutifully took to the methadone clinic every morning before leaving for work.

Tenon has been behind bars since August after police found a shotgun in his trunk during a traffic stop.

Tenon was a one-time tenant in the Jacksonville home formerly owned by Fernandez, and police stressed that he was part of a larger plot to kill Bridegan’s loving father.

Prosecutors charged him with Bridgun’s murder on Wednesday and said they were still looking for his conspirators. Fernandez and Gardner-Fernandez remain suspects in the case, law enforcement sources said.

Bridegan, who had two young children with his new wife Kirsten Bridegan, was driving home after leaving the kids he shared with his ex when he hit a tire in the middle of the road.

According to police, he was shot dead immediately after he got out of the car to remove the obstruction.

His 2-year-old Bexley sat in a car seat for three minutes after witnessing her father’s execution, until a passer-by noticed the disturbing scene and called the police.

According to Fox News, Gardner-Fernandez has since moved with her two children to Richland, Washington. Her husband did not join her on the cross-country journey.
