WATCH: Brooklyn cop clears school kids off street during U-Haul driver rampage

As a distraught U-Haul driver raced through the streets of Brooklyn, hitting cyclists and pedestrians, an NYPD officer tried to clear out schoolchildren playing on a street that could be in danger, the video shows.

In heartbreaking body camera footage released by police Tuesday night, Bay Ridge Precinct 68 officers drive up to a road closed to schoolchildren to play during recess.

The officer runs down the street, warning the students and teachers to come inside.

“Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go!” he shouts as the children run beside and ahead of him. “Guys, get off the street! Come on, off the street!”

With the help of the childcare staff, the policeman takes the children off the street to the school.

As the children were hurried off the street, Wong Sor sat behind the wheel of a rented truck and wreaked havoc in the area.

According to police sources, he purposefully shot down his victims as they fled.

The 62-year-old man punched nine people during the horrific rampage, including 44-year-old single father Iji Ye, who did not survive, police said.

Sora’s attack began at Fourth Avenue and 54th Street in Sunset Park before moving to Bay Ridge and then Dyker Heights, police said.

He was at large, chasing people for over an hour before police arrested him at Hamilton Avenue and Columbia Street in Red Hook at 11:24 am.

Sora, whose last known address is in Las Vegas, was charged Tuesday with murder, attempted murder and assault.
