Two people are injured during a party at a house in Queens

A gunman shot and wounded two people near a party at a house in Queens early Sunday morning, police said.

The victims were standing outside a house on 100 Beach Street, off Rockaway Beach Boulevard. in Rockaways when a man fired multiple shots around 4 a.m., police said.

The shooter wounded a 22-year-old woman in the right leg and a 35-year-old man in the left leg, after which he fled.

Medics took both victims to a Jamaican hospital, where they are expected to recover.

There were no immediate arrests as the police worked to track down the shooter.
