Two killed in late-night shooting at Deep Ellum bar

Two people were killed in a shooting in Deep Ellum on Wednesday morning, police said.

According to the Dallas Police Department, officers were called to the 2800 block of Elm Street shortly before 1:00 am.

Police said the incident began when an argument at the Bitter End bar, located on the corner of Malcolm X Boulevard and Elm Street, led to the shooting.

Witnesses told police they shot at the bar from the sidewalk, police said.

A man and a woman were injured in the shooting, police said. Both victims were taken to Baylor Medical Center in critical condition.

Police said both victims died at the hospital.

At the moment, there is no information about the suspects.
