Two arrested for a string of burglaries in Greenfield

GREENFIELD, California (KION-V). Greenfield police said they have arrested two people in connection with 10 burglaries reported over the past few days. These break-ins took place late at night or in the early hours of the morning.

Police said they spotted 29-year-old James Otuafi and 27-year-old Carlos Soosemea, both from Soledad, trying to break into another car on Thursday evening. Both were detained and later arrested for possession of stolen property and breaking into vehicles.

Both suspects were also serving criminal charges for vehicle theft.
