Three strangers shouting anti-Asian slurs hit a man and woman on the head on Queens Street.

Police said Sunday that a man and woman walking down a Queens street were punched and kicked in the head by three strangers who jumped out of an SUV shouting anti-Asian slurs.

The victims, a 44-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man, walked along the sidewalk on Junction Boulevard. Police said they were near Roosevelt Avenue in Corona when they were attacked around 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

A woman in a white Acura SUV screamed, “Ugly Asian!” then doused the woman with water, police said. Then she and two men got out of the SUV and punched and kicked both victims in the head.

The trio returned to the SUV and drove west on Roosevelt Avenue, police said. They weren’t caught.

Both victims were hospitalized with head injuries.

The NYPD Hate Crime Task Force is investigating the attack.

Police have released surveillance footage of the suspects jumping out of an SUV and are asking the public for help in identifying and tracking them down.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls are confidential.
