The NYPD says the shooter has been arrested for a drug-related murder in Washington Heights.

Last month, police arrested a fugitive wanted for a drug-related murder in Washington Heights.

Tamir Stiles, 45, was arrested on Wednesday in Franklin, New Jersey, where he was arrested for drug possession.

Stiles, who lives in Somerset, New Jersey, declined extradition and was returned to the city, where he was ordered to be held without bail when charged.

Police said he fired from a passing SUV and killed 44-year-old Charbel Azouki of the Bronx on the night of Feb. 15.

Police at the scene, where on February 15 on Riverside Drive at W. 163 St.  a man was shot.

The victim was shot in the head and chest on Riverside Drive near 163rd Street, police said. Next to him was a bag of drugs and a bag of cell phones.

Azuki was rushed to Lincoln Hospital but could not be saved.

He had one previous drug arrest, police said.

Styles has six arrests, all in New Jersey, including four for drugs.
