Tesla driver fell asleep at the wheel on a California highway: VIDEO

TEMEKULA, California. – Last week, a Tesla driver passed out on I-15 in Southern California.

People passing by the Tesla filmed the driver hunched over and apparently asleep. Footage taken near Temecula was released on Thursday.

“Look how dangerous it is,” the woman in the video said. “Guys, I’m sorry, it’s bloody dangerous to sleep, and you are being driven by this car? Are you crazy?

People in a passing car said they followed the Tesla for 15 minutes, trying to get the driver’s attention before calling the police. They said it was a new Tesla without any numbers.

The police allegedly caught up with the car and reported that the driver was awake.
