Queens driver dies after flipping his BMW in sidewalk crash

A 25-year-old BMW driver died after he crashed onto a Queens sidewalk, flipping his car, cops said Monday.

Tao Wu was zipping west on 37th St. in Flushing when he struck the sidewalk near Parsons Blvd. about 9:50 p.m. Sunday, police said.

The impact caused Wu’s black 2022 BMW to roll over.

Medics rushed Wu to New York-Presbyterian Queens but he couldn’t be saved. He was about a mile from home when he crashed.

Nobody else was hurt in the crash.
