One person dies in Queens apartment fire: FDNY
A fire at an apartment building in Queens killed one person Saturday afternoon, according to the fire department.
The fire broke out around 4:25 p.m. on the fourth floor of a six-story apartment building on 88th Street near Roosevelt Avenue in Jackson Heights, authorities said.

Sixty firefighters arrived by 4:50 p.m., officials said.
EMS pronounced one person dead at the scene, FDNY officials said. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
