On Monday, police released a photo of a person of interest wanted for questioning in a shootout in the Bronx that killed a man and wounded a woman last year.

Police said a security camera caught a man riding a motorcycle near the scene of a May 15 shootout that killed Gabriel Ramirez Gomez and wounded a 43-year-old woman.

Ramirez Gomez, 27, got into an argument with at least one man near Bill Rainey Park at Rogers Place and Dawson Street in Longwood while a baseball game was in progress.

Ramirez Gomez fired a shot and was hit in the chest in response. During the wild skirmish, at least 20 shots were fired.

One of the bullets hit a woman whom the police called an innocent bystander.

Medics rushed Gomez to Lincoln Hospital, but they couldn’t save him. The wounded woman was treated at the same place.

Police are still working on finding those involved and are asking the public for help in finding them. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
