Man stabbed in unprovoked attack outside Lower East Side McDonald’s

A man was stabbed in an unprovoked attack in front of a Lower East Side McDonald’s, police said Thursday.

The 42-year-old victim was standing in front of the fast food joint at the intersection of Delancey St. and Essex St. on Monday when he was approached by a stranger around 11:40 p.m., cops said.

NYPD released a photo of involved in a stabbing  in front of a Lower East Side McDonalds location.

The man randomly stabbed the victim once in the chest, then ran into a subway station on the corner, according to police.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.

Police released images of the stabber Thursday in the hopes someone may recognize him.

He was described as in his 50s, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black-and-white sweat suit, a gray hat and black sneakers.

The attack happened outside the same McDonald’s in which a man terrorized the busy eatery with a hatchet last month, viral video shows.

Michael Palacios, 31, was caught on video smashing up the fast food location after an argument with other customers.

He was charged with criminal mischief and criminal possession of a weapon, but was released without bail following an arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court, records show.
