Man loading U-Haul in Brooklyn critically hurt in hit and run
A man was critically injured when a car slammed into him while he was loading a U-Haul in Brooklyn on Tuesday, with the car driving off afterwards, police sources said.
The 29-year-old victim was loading the truck on Ocean Ave. near Kings Highway when a Mercedes struck him around 3 p.m., according to cop sources.
The man’s leg was crushed as the car pushed him into the U-Haul, they added.
The driver took off, leaving the man with a serious leg injury.
He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in critical but stable condition, police said.
The hit-and-run driver is still being sought.
