Man and woman shot dead outside NYCHA building in Queens

Two people were shot outside a public housing building in Queens on Sunday, police said.

The victims were near a house in Baisley Park on Guy R. Brewer Boulevard. Near 116th Avenue in South Jamaica when gunfire broke out around 6 p.m., police said.

Before fleeing, the shooter shot a 31-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man in the leg.

Medics rushed them to a Jamaican hospital where they were expected to survive.

Police are still looking for the shooter, who both victims know, police said.

There were no immediate arrests.
