What they say

Jalen Pitre: “It’s a blessing to work with a guy like Coach Ryans. I just want to show my best and help this team win. I am looking forward to this season. It’s a blessing to play for someone who has not only excelled in coaching but also had a great career.”

Dameon Pierce: “It’s nice to know that we have a coach with the same mentality as Coach Lovi (Smith) and it’s easier to adjust to new staff who have the same philosophy as Coach Lovi, so we’ve already implemented it with us, so that we can take it and work with it. It was a great system with the 49ers. They hit it hard with Christian McCaffrey and (Raheem) Mostert, those guys. The system is working.”
