Former PTA president of Mansfield ISD is accused of embezzling money from the PTA treasury.

The former PTA president of the Mansfield ISD school was arrested on charges of stealing thousands of dollars.

Jennifer Medina was president of the Roberta Tipps Elementary School Parents and Teachers Association.

Last November, the incumbent noticed the loss of funds and reported it to the Mansfield police.

After examining bank records, it was determined that Medina transferred $7,690 from the PTA Treasury to her PayPal account.

Under interrogation by the police, she confessed to the transfers, but said that she had no money.

Medina was arrested on Friday, January 13th.
