Crazy attacker hit a man on the back of the head at City Hall subway station in New York
Police said on Thursday that during a horrific attack at a Manhattan subway station, one of the belt hangers was hit by a piece of metal in the back of the head.
The 52-year-old victim was in the stairwell of the Brooklyn Bridge City Hall station on Wednesday when a man approached him around 6:20 am Wednesday, police said.

The distraught assailant hit the victim with a metal weapon on the back of the head.
The threat disappeared, and the wounded man remained at the station.
Medics took him to Bellevue Hospital in a stable condition for treatment of a head cut.
Police on Thursday released a picture of the man responsible for the attack and are asking the public for help in identifying him.
