Chinese food deliveryman injured in violent Bronx robbery

A food deliveryman was the victim of a violent robbery in the Bronx, police said Thursday.

The 50-year-old man was bringing Chinese food to a building on East Clarke Place near Walton Ave. in Mt. Eden around 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, according to cops.

NYPD released images of two suspects wanted in the robbery of Chinese food deliveryman in the Bronx.

When he arrived, a man hit him in the head with a blow that sent the deliveryman tumbling to the ground.

A second attacker kicked him repeatedly before the first one joined in and punched him, police said.

The crooks stole $300 in cash and the food from the victim.

Medics took him to a local hospital to be treated for a shoulder injury, cuts to his face and bleeding and bruising to his head, eyes and neck, police said.

Police on Thursday released surveillance video of the cruel muggers and are still searching for them.
