Cat found in bag going through TSA security at Kennedy Airport

Guards at Kennedy Airport were shocked to discover a cat stuck in a checked bag going through security, the Transportation Security Administration said Tuesday, adding that the feline was no worse for the unexpected journey.

TSA agents were shocked to spot a cat stuck in a checked bag going through airport security at Kennedy Airport, officials said Tuesday.

The feline, which appeared in photos to have orange fur, went undetected until it popped up on an X-ray of the suitcase at the Queens hub on Nov. 16, a TSA spokesperson said.

Airport officials found the bag’s owner, who said the cat belonged to someone he lives with, the spokesperson said in a tweet.

“On the bright site, the cat’s out of the bag and safely back home,” she wrote.
