Attacker jumps out of SUV and stabs, wounds two men on East Harlem street

A man jumped out of an SUV and stabbed and wounded two men on an East Harlem street early Monday, police said.

The victims, ages 27 and 29, were walking on Second Ave. when a white SUV pulled up near E. 105th St. about 12:20 a.m., cops said.

The attacker, identified by police as Cory Black, jumped out of the SUV and stabbed the older man in the neck and the other victim in the back before running away, police said.

Another man in the car took off and is still being sought, cops said.

Black, 34, trying to get away by making a U-turn, was taken into custody by responding cops.

As cops searched him and the car, they found multiple weapons, including a machine gun in the trunk, police said.

Black, of Queens, was hit with a slew of charges, including assault, multiple counts of weapons possession and reckless endangerment.

The older victim was taken by medics to Harlem Hospital and the other victim was taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell. Both were in stable condition.

It wasn’t immediately clear what sparked the attack.
