Armed robber opens fire on Rolex robbery near Rockefeller Center

Police said that on Monday, during a robbery with a firearm, a shot was fired from Rockefeller Center.

The gunman approached the bloodless victim outside a Starbucks on W. 48th St., police said. and Rockefeller Plaza around 18:30.

When the scammer tried to steal a Rolex watch right off the man’s wrist, the victim resisted.

According to police, during the fight, the robber fired a shot that hit no one.

They added that he was able to get away with the watch and ran west along 48th Street.

The gunman was last seen wearing a red fur-collared jacket and blue jeans, sources said.

The police were still looking for him on Monday evening.
