Armed duo in black ski masks rob NYC subway rider of $4,000 Louis Vuitton sneakers and iPhone

On Monday, police said two men wearing black ski masks robbed a Manhattan belt dealer at gunpoint, stealing more than $4,000 worth of Louis Vuitton sneakers and other expensive items.

The 31-year-old victim was about to exit a northbound Q train as it approached the 34th Street-Herald Square station around 6 p.m. Sunday when robbers approached him, police said, and one of them fired a gun.

The couple grabbed the man’s bag containing $4,400 of trendy sneakers and items from several other designer brands, as well as an iPhone, police said.

He got off the train, police said, but the scammers, who were also wearing black hoodies, remained on board.

According to the victim, the total value of what was stolen was $9,300.
