A 25-year-old man was fatally shot in the head on a street in the Bronx.

According to police, the man was shot in the head Sunday on a street in the Bronx.

Achilles Baskin, 25, was shot dead near the corner of Bathgate Avenue and E. 183rd Street in Morrisania around 1:25 p.m., police said.

When paramedics arrived, he was unconscious and unconscious with a gunshot wound to the head.

Baskin was rushed to the hospital of St. Barnabas, but it was not possible to save him.

According to police, he was killed about 2 miles south of where he lived.

There were no immediate arrests.
