Man on e-bike dies after crashing into park bench in Manhattan

Police said Wednesday that a 32-year-old man riding an e-bike through Manhattan’s Riverside Park died after crashing into a bench.
Jacobo Villano Pardo was cycling on the Henry Hudson Parkway in Upper West Side Park when he crashed into a park bench near 94th Street around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, witnesses said.
Police said he was thrown off his bike and landed on a bike path.
Medics rushed Villano Pardo to Mount Sinai Morningside with a head injury. He later died in the hospital,” the police said.
According to the police, Villano Pardo lived in Harlem.
