100-year-old man dies in escape in Auckland

OAKLAND, California. (KION-TV) — Oakland police said a 100-year-old man was the victim of a hit-and-run on Sunday morning.

A driver in a brown or white Mini Copper hit a man at the intersection of 19th Street and Harrison Street just after 7 a.m.

Police said the man suffered a serious head injury and died at the scene. This investigation is ongoing.
