1 woman killed, 1 hospitalized after Cedar Hill shooting

Cedar Hill (CBSNewsTexas.com) — One woman has died and another is hospitalized after a shooting in Cedar Hill on Monday evening.

Around 10:30 pm on March 13, police responded to a call about a shooting at 1209 Neptune St.

When officers arrived, they found two adult female victims. One victim died on the spot, the second was taken to a local hospital, nothing is known about her condition.

Police said there was also a minor in the house, but he was not injured.

Officers said one of the victims provided “limited information about the suspect,” leading to a car chase in Dallas and the man’s subsequent apprehension.

The man was taken to the Cedar Hill Police Station for questioning, police said. They shared that the shooting appears to be the result of a domestic incident and that there is no threat to the public.
