Woman shot and killed after possible car theft in Houston, police say

HOUSTON – 67 years old. the woman was shot V possible car theft near an apartment complex in the Memorial District on Tuesday morning, according to Houston Police Department.

Police are looking for her white 2020 Mitsubishi Eclipse SUV that was stolen. Eyewitnesses told police they saw two people get into the car.

Witnesses told police that the woman was shot dead in her car and then thrown out of the car. The shooters then ran into her as they sped off.

The stolen SUV, license plate TX RG3295, was last seen heading to the Katy Freeway.

It happened at about 8:30 am on Yorkchester Drive west of N. Wilcrest Drive. It’s across the street from the Westchester Academy of International Studies Spring Branch ISD.

The Houston police said that woman was found dead in the parking lot of the complex She was shot at once.

Detectives said she lives in an apartment complex.
