White House aides find 5 more classified documents at Biden’s Delaware home

A third batch of classified documents have been found at President Biden’s residence in Wilmington, Delaware, lawyers for the president said Saturday.

Special Adviser to the President Richard Sauber said in a statement that five additional pages of classified documents were found in Biden’s home on Thursday evening, resulting in a total of six classified documents being recovered from there.

Sauber explained that when Biden’s personal attorneys discovered one classified document at Biden’s home on Wednesday, they stopped searching for more documents because they did not have the security clearance needed to view the materials.

“Because I have a security clearance, I went to Wilmington on Thursday evening to help hand over a document that the president’s personal lawyer found on Wednesday to the Justice Department,” Sauber said. “While I was handing it over to the officials of the Ministry of Justice who accompanied me, five additional pages with classification marks were found among the materials with him, for a total of six pages. The Justice Department officials who were with me immediately took possession of them.”

Additional classified documents were found in Biden’s garage and in the president’s old office at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, DC.

This is an evolving story and will be updated.
