Summer time has come; this is what i should do before bed

HOUSTON “It’s not just spring break, it’s also Daylight Saving Time (DST). Daylight Saving Time officially starts at 2am on March 12th, when you must set your clock forward one hour.

CONNECTED: Will this be the last time we “switch” to daylight saving time?

I always do this before I go to bed and I have to go around the house finding all the clocks I have and figure out how to move them forward. Then I realize when my head touches the pillow that I will lose an hour of sleep on Sunday. But I will get what seems like an extra hour of daylight in the evenings in the future, so I think that might be a good thing.

CONNECTED: Standard time is giving way to daylight saving time in most of the US

To be honest, I have no idea what the real benefits of daylight saving time are, but I do know that it was a long time ago to save electricity during World War II, at least that’s what I learned in school. Then people just liked it, and year after year it remained unchanged. I just want the powers that be to decide what to do every spring and every fall.

So until then, I must continue to reset all my clocks about twice a year. So have some fun tonight by setting the clock and try not to oversleep tomorrow.
