Want to get your ex valentine arrested? Police offer special weekend

Mississippi authorities are offering a nice deal for those looking to get back at their exes on Valentine’s Day.

The Gulfport Police Department says they have a special offer for Valentine’s Day.

If a person has an ex-Valentine who has committed a crime or has an outstanding warrant, the police want to know his whereabouts and they will take care of the rest.

Jokingly, police said the special included “a set of limited-edition pink bracelets, complimentary chauffeur-driven transportation, a professional photo shoot, and the evening will end with a special Valentine’s Day dinner.”

“We understand how special this all-inclusive offer is and you may be tempted to provide additional guidance,” the department wrote on its Facebook page. “We encourage you to call and tell us about all your ex-Valentines. Operators at the ready!

“But wait… that’s not all… if you act fast, your ex-valentine will also get an exclusive orange jumpsuit! This year, give them a Valentine they will never forget! #TippinAintSnitchin #HappyValentinesDay,” the post continued.

According to YouGovAmerica, about one in fourteen American adults (7%) say they broke up with someone on Valentine’s Day. A similar number broke up with a partner shortly before (6%) or shortly after (6%) Valentine’s Day.
