Two people shot dead at Deep Ellum’s “Bitter End” bar, officials say

DALLAS (CBSNewsTexas.com) — According to police, two people were shot and killed at the Deep Ellum bar in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Shortly before 1:00 a.m. on March 15, officers were sent on a call to Bitter End, a bar in the 2800 block of Elm Street.
Officials said the man was sitting outside on the patio when another man approached and started shooting at him. Several bullets reportedly went through the wall and glass and hit a man as well as a woman inside the bar.
Both victims were taken to a local hospital, where they died, officials said.
No motive has been released at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
