Trump’s response: Biden, leading US to ‘brink of World War III’, vows to reverse ‘catastrophe’ if elected in 2024

Former President Trump accused President Biden of bringing the United States “to the brink of World War III” and vowed to reverse all “catastrophes” caused by his policies and “finish the unfinished business of America’s return to greatness” if re-elected to the presidency. White House in 2024.

Responding to Biden’s second address to the US Congress, Trump outlined the “real state of the Union” in a video message.

“In the past two years under Biden, millions and millions of illegals from 160 different countries have broken in across our southern border,” Trump said, adding that “drug cartels are now raking in billions of dollars from smuggling poisons to kill our people and kill our children.”

Trump said of crime: “savage killers, rapists and violent criminals are released from prison to continue their crime wave.”

“Under Biden, the murder rate has reached the highest level in the history of our country,” Trump said.

He accused Biden and “Radical Democrats” of wasting “trillions of dollars” and of “causing the worst inflation in half a century.” He said they also armed the government against their own citizens.

“Joe Biden’s armed Justice Department — and I am his victim — is targeting his political opponents,” Trump said.

Trump is currently under investigation by a special prosecutor for possessing classified records of his Mar-a-Lago presidency. Biden is also separately under investigation by a special prosecutor for possession of classified records.

Trump said the Biden administration is “at war with free speech.”

“They are trying to indoctrinate and maim our children,” Trump said.

On foreign policy, Trump said Biden is “leading us to the brink of World War III.”

“And on top of that, he’s the most corrupt president in American history, and that doesn’t even come close,” Trump said.

“But the good news is that we are going to reverse every crisis, calamity and catastrophe that Joe Biden has created,” Trump said. “I’m running for president to end the destruction of our country and complete the unfinished business of returning America to greatness.”

BIDEN WILL NOT MAKE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR 2024 UNTIL AFTER UNION PROVISIONS: SOURCES

“We will make our country better than ever before, and we will always put America first.”

On November 15, Trump announced that he would run again for the presidency. Biden will not announce whether he will run for re-election in 2024 until his speech before Congress, sources said.

White House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates said the discovery of the classified documents would not affect the timing of Biden’s decision.

“The President is making good on his promise to respect the independence of the Department of Justice and separate it from politics. You heard from him directly, including after his agenda led to the best interim terms for a Democratic president in 60 years, that he intends to run,” Bates said.
