Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw gives an insight into the White House briefing to Congress on downing unidentified objects.

Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, revealed some of the specifics of what was said to Congress regarding unidentified objects that the US continues to bombard from the sky.

Members of Congress on Tuesday, three unidentified flying objects were briefed that have been shot down over North America in recent days.

After the briefing to Congress, Crenshaw took to Twitter and gave everything he could to the American people, insisting on “transparency.”

“Everyone wants answers about objects flying over the United States. Today, members of Congress finally got more information from senior military officials,” he said. “We still don’t know what those three other objects were. We call them Unidentified Air Phenomena (UAPs).”

Crenshaw, a former Navy SEAL and combat veteran who has traveled overseas on numerous occasions, said the US knows what chinese spy balloon was and that steps were taken to prevent data being returned to China.

As for the UAPs, he said, they were in FAA commercial areas and were not equipped with signals or navigation lights.

“The first two UAPs were smaller, about the size of an ATV, and harder to spot,” Crenshaw tweeted. “The third one looked like a balloon and was easier for radar to detect. Everything moved with the currents of the wind.

As to why these objects are being found now, the member of Congress said surveillance has been stepped up, resulting in more objects being tracked. After moving objects Ministry of Defence objects and posed a threat to commercial aircraft, they were shot down.

Crenshaw said the Chinese balloon was at over 60,000 feet and did not pose a threat to commercial aircraft.

“New technologies have made it possible to discover more in recent years,” he said. “Before, UAPs were not detected because our radars were not tuned to slow moving objects.

“Obviously there’s a lot we don’t know yet,” Crenshaw added. “I’m going to keep pushing for transparency so that Americans know what’s going on in the skies over their country.”
