Severe weather: strong winds broke the camera of the FOX TV tower in Dallas

On Thursday evening, a severe storm caused damage to North Texas, including one of the FOX 4 camera towers.

FOX 4 meteorologist Dan Henry showed the wind shaking our camera at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

The camera began to swing faster and faster before dropping and falling, showing only the top of the roof.

“It might be out of place,” Henry said.

“I think today the camera could be on for the rest of the day,” FOX 4 meteorologist Ali Turiano joked.

The storm line brought gusts of over 80 mph, and many North Texas residents shared photos and videos of hail and damaging winds near their homes.
