Seriously wounded man shot dead near north side

After a shot in northern Indianapolis, one person is said to be in critical condition.

At approximately 9:20 p.m., officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were sent to the 1300 block of North Delaware Street in response to a complaint from a man who had been shot dead.

Police have not released any information about the victim.

Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene to find the victim, who had been shot in the leg. According to police reports, the incident took place in an apartment located at the intersection of Delaware and 13th streets.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the victim was taken to a Methodist hospital in critical condition.

As of 10:40 p.m. Friday, IMPD officers on site said there was no suspicious information. The police did not provide any information about the age and gender of the victim.
