Police: Man shot dead outside Hearst Elementary School

HURST, TX (CBSDFW.COM) – Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed outside Hearst Elementary School Sunday night.

Shortly after 9:30 p.m. on January 29, police were sent to shoot at 500 E. Pecan St.

When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to the HEB hospital, where he was later declared dead, police said. His identity has not yet been revealed.

Currently, the police say no suspects have been identified and that the investigation is ongoing.
