One person died in a car crash in downtown El Paso

A car accident in downtown El Paso resulted in the death of one person, according to police reports.

There was a collision at the intersection of Stanton Street and Missouri Avenue. The collision was reported at 1:22 a.m. Sunday.

According to initial reports from emergency personnel, the vehicle collided with a parking structure.

One person was found to be in critical condition and was taken to the hospital, where he eventually died.

The presence of special traffic police inspectors (SDD) was checked by the local police department.
