No bomb found at Stanford mall after threat

Palo Alto police said cops responded to a bomb threat at a Stanford mall on Wednesday, and no bomb was found after checking the mall.

The bomb threat was reported at approximately 10:15. Officers and security personnel combed the mall with dogs to detect explosives, police said.

Most stores had not yet reopened during the day and there were no lockdown or evacuation orders.

Police have asked the public to avoid the area.
