Music, mimosas, Mark Wahlberg and more: 20 things to do in Dallas and Fort Worth this weekend

You have festivals. You have concerts. You have the looks of a celebrity.

DALLAS – Listen… (or read, I guess).

I know we usually find about 30 things to do in North Texas on a weekend, but a lot of what we found this time around is more than enough.

You have the looks of a celebrity.

You have a circus and more.

But be aware that the Dallas-Fort Worth area is recovering from Thursday’s severe weather, so keep an eye out for any delays and/or cancellations.

Here’s what we have for the weekend:

Friday, March 3

Mark Wahlberg signs a bottle (Dallas)

Actor Mark Wahlberg will be in Dallas on Friday to promote Flecha Azul, a new brand of tequila.

He will be signing bottles from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Spec store along Highway 75 near Walnut Hill Lane.

Entry to the autograph session is free, but fans are advised to arrive early. The last time a celebrity appeared on US 75, there were lines lining up around the store.

Saturday, March 4

Something about dressing up to eat some mimosa sounds so much fun! If you’re on the same wavelength as me, grab your tickets and go to Texas Live!

Each venue will have special mimosas, live music throughout the area, and giveaways and brunch options to balance the mimosas.

Tickets start at $20 and all come with mimosas of your choice, a pair of sunglasses, and a $5 extra mimosas offer.

Sunday, March 5

Mavericks vs. Suns Watch Party (Allen)

Can the Mavs bounce back from Tuesday’s game against the Pacers? You can see for yourself in Allen.

HUB will host a party starting at noon on Sunday when they take on the Phoenix Suns.

HUB is a fun and dining area for families and dogs with large outdoor seating. They will have a variety of food and drinks and reservations are not required.
