Michigan mother shoots woman pregnant by same man

A Michigan mother allegedly shot and killed another woman who got pregnant by the same man as her.

Shantonia Williamson, 26, who is pregnant, saw her child’s father in a car with another pregnant woman in Detroit on Sunday, prosecutors told FOX 2.

Williamson also has a 2-year-old son who was with her when she saw a man with another woman.

Police said the man got out of the car and started arguing with Williamson, who then allegedly pulled out a gun and started shooting at the pregnant woman in the car.

Officials said the woman was shot in the leg and has non-life-threatening injuries.

As Detroit police drove past a house in the 18000 Greenlee area, the police allegedly witnessed Williamson slap the man.

She was arrested and charged with fourth-degree child abuse and assault with intent to kill, and her bail was set at $750,000.

Macomb County Attorney Pete Lucido called it “outrageous behavior.”

“This shooting is pointless, it is brutal. And, more importantly, it is deadly. Anyone could have died there,” Lucido said.
