LI chiropractor who allegedly groped teen faces new allegations of forcibly touching three more patients

A Long Island chiropractor who was arrested in October on suspicion of sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl is now facing new charges for inappropriately touching three other patients during an examination.

Ronald Bernardini, 65, was arrested Saturday after three former patients of his Ronkonkoma Lake practice contacted police and accused him of perversion during meetings they had between February 2021 and last October, police said. Suffolk County.

They came after the elder was arrested for sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl who told her parents that Bernardini forcibly touched her breasts during an examination, News 12 reported.

Smithtown’s Bernardini was slapped on four counts of violent touching and is expected to be held overnight before being charged in the First District Court in Central Islip on Monday.

He could not be contacted immediately for comment, but had previously denied the accusations to News 12.
