He added: “The real Lindsey showed generous love and care for everyone – me, our children, family, friends and her patients. The loving fibers of her soul. All I wish for her right now is for her to find peace somehow.”

Patrick Clancy shared his opinion about their marriage.

“Our marriage was wonderful and strengthened diametrically as her condition rapidly deteriorated. I was just as proud to be her husband as I was my father, and felt that I was constantly lucky to have her in my life,” he wrote.

The statement continues: “I still remember the very moment when I first saw her and I can remember being overwhelmed with love at first sight that can only be seen in movies. It really didn’t take long before I was sure I wanted to marry her.”

According to Patrick Clancy, they “mutually understood the reality that people can have bad days, but we stuck to the rule that when one of us got lost, the other was always there to bring him home, always.” She loved being a nurse, but nothing could compare to her intense love for our children and her dedication to motherhood. It was all she ever wanted. Her passion taught me how to be a better father.”

Concluding the statement, Patrick Clancy shared a message with his children.

“Cora, Dawson and Callan, you have given me so much in the short time you have been here. I don’t know if the pain will ever go away, but I will do my best to continue in your honor. Dada loves you very much and will always remember you,” he said.

NBC News reported that an arrest warrant was issued Wednesday for Lindsey Clancy on two counts of murder, three counts of strangulation and three counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
