So far, no other county has announced a closure, cancellation or early termination on Thursday. We will update this page when we know more

The following is the Pasadena ISD statement regarding school closures:

ISD Pasadena officially closes tomorrow, Thursday, January 26, 2023. We have several schools without electricity, internet and telephones. The decision will be made tomorrow by 17:00 in respect of Friday, January 27, 2023. We compile a list of resources for our families in need and post it on our county website. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

The following is ISD Deer Park’s announcement of school closures:

School is canceled for all DPISD campuses tomorrow, January 26th.

Power has not been reinstated in several of our institutions, preventing us from resuming education. We do not have an estimate of when power will be restored to all of our schools, but we will share more information as it becomes available.

Employees should not come to work unless they are contacted by their manager.

OBJECT DAMAGE REPORT DPISD

Members of our distinguished maintenance team confirmed today that our buildings were not affected by yesterday’s tornado. Today they continued to clean up debris and fallen trees.

OVERVIEW OF THE FAMILY DAMAGE NEEDS DPISD TORNADO

Finally, our advisory team has created a parent questionnaire for families to complete so campuses can identify families in need, as well as those who would like to donate to help those in need. Please help us coordinate our response by completing the questionnaire. The information you provide will be shared with campus counselors who will contact you regarding available resources and opportunities.
