HCSO: Search underway for 3 missing men near Crosby after ATV ran out of fuel

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Deputies search for three men after their ATV ran out of fuel Near the San Jacinto River in eastern Harris County, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

It happened sometime on a Saturday night near Gulf Pump Rd. which is adjacent to the Beaumont Highway.

Gonzalez tweeted that four people on an ATV got stuck in the mud after they ran out of fuel. One person got out, but three men aged 17, 21 and 22 stayed with the ATV. The three men who were left with the ATV are nowhere to be found, Gonzalez said.

Active searches are underway. Gonzalez asked anyone with information about the missing persons to call 713-221-6000.
