‘Farmer Wants a Wife’: First Look at FOX Dating Reality Show

Farmer Wants a Wife is a new dating series that follows four lonely farmers on a quest for romance and hopefully eternal love – and FOX is watching the new show for the first time.

In the brief, a group of 32 women forego the comforts of city life and are invited to experience life on a farm with one of four farmers.

The top four bachelors include 31-year-old Hunter Grayson of Watkinsville, Georgia; Ryan Black, 32, from Shelby, North Carolina; Landon Heaton, 35, from Alva, Oklahoma; and Allen Foster, 32, Williamsport, Tennessee.

“They will spend six weeks getting to know each other on this journey to find love,” host and country music star Jennifer Nettles says in the teaser. “I love love. What could be better than love?

Based on an international reality show format, these farmers will show women what life is really like on a real working farm, from tending the land, feeding livestock, baling hay and managing business operations.

According to FOX, the reality of life in the country will make many women wonder how much they are willing to change for love.

“It has real authentic connections, people who are looking for partners for life, not just wanting to be famous,” Nettles shares. “I’m thrilled to be a part of this touching adventure that brings people together in true romance.”
